Terms of Use

By using Cropanion you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Parties and Scope

These Terms govern the relationship between Cropanion users and the app's owner, Mustafa Kocaman. By using the app you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.

2. Age Requirement

The app is not directed at anyone under 13 (under 16 in the European Union). We reserve the right to remove accounts that do not meet the age requirement.

3. Nature and Limits of the Service

Cropanion is a hobby gardening assistant. It is not a professional agronomy service, it is not designed for commercial production, and it cannot provide licensed advice on pesticides or chemical fertilisers. Do not make commercial or high-risk agricultural decisions based on the app's content.

4. Agricultural Disclaimer

Watering recommendations, fertilising schedules, sowing windows and disease diagnoses are for general information only. They cannot account for your soil structure, microclimate, seed variety or local conditions. We are not liable for crop loss, harvest damage or economic loss arising from decisions based on the app's content.

5. AI Feature

AI analysis is generated with Google Gemini and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for decisions you make based on its output. The analysis feature is subject to a daily limit for fair use. Do not include personal data in your photos.

6. User Obligations

You agree to use the app lawfully; not to share content that infringes the rights of others; not to harass, threaten or defame other users; not to spread deliberately misleading agricultural information; not to reverse engineer or copy the app; and not to share content unsuitable for anyone under 18.

7. Grower Content and Sharing

Inside the app only verified growers (Growers) can publish content, and each Grower is legally responsible for what they publish. Prohibited: defamation, hate speech, obscene or violent content, copyright infringement, third parties' personal data, spam and misleading agricultural promotion. Sponsored content or paid collaborations must be clearly marked as "Sponsored". We may remove infringing content without notice, revoke Grower status, and suspend or permanently close accounts. Serious violations may be reported to the authorities. By publishing, you grant Cropanion a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual and irrevocable licence to host, display, reproduce, distribute and adapt in form (e.g. crop or translate) your content inside the app and in Cropanion's promotional channels. You keep ownership of your content and may use it elsewhere. Grower status and the free Pro membership that comes with it are provided in exchange for this licence. You can edit or delete a post within the first 24 hours after publishing; after that it stays published permanently. Deleting your account or the end of your Grower status does not end this licence: your posts remain published anonymously, with your name, username and profile photo removed. If a post contains personal data that identifies you (e.g. your face), you can ask us in writing to remove it; we always remove unlawful content and content we are legally required to remove. You confirm that you have the right to grant this licence for what you publish (the photos are yours or you have the necessary permission). You share cards generated by the app outside the app at your own choice; those posts are governed by the rules of the platform you share them on.

8. Your Account and Data Loss

You are responsible for the security of your account. You may permanently delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion cannot be undone. Because your data is stored in the cloud it survives a change of device, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Intellectual Property

The Cropanion name, logo, design and code belong to the owner and are protected by law. They may not be copied, reverse engineered or used to create derivative works. Commercial use of the Cropanion name requires written permission.

10. Service Changes

We may modify or discontinue any feature without prior notice. Any future paid features will be subject to a separate agreement.

11. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for crop loss or economic damage arising from the app's content; inaccurate AI suggestions; third-party claims arising from user content; data loss or service interruptions; or outages of third-party services. Total liability shall not exceed the subscription amounts you paid in the last 12 months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your infringement of third-party rights.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye and the courts of Ankara have jurisdiction. Users in the European Union/EEA and in Latin American countries retain the mandatory rights granted by their local consumer protection legislation.

14. Changes to Terms

The Terms may be updated. Significant changes are announced inside the app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
